Hey everyone! Hope everyone is having a good day, even though the weather (here, anyways) is overcast and chilly.

This past weekend was pretty tame. I worked all weekend, there was some drama at work but things got figured out so that was good. I've been having trouble getting all my chores done especially with the new program in place and the kids acting all crazy but life goes on, right?

Chris went shooting with his dad this weekend, he seems to enjoy himself when he goes out and I think thats great. From the stories I hear, his aim is getting better and better with each time out. Plus spending time with his dad is always a plus.

Chris just got finished building, staining and installing a custom spice rack that turned out really great and the home owner seems to really like the end result. Once they send pics we'll be posting them everywhere. Chris was really happy with the end result too.

We spent a lot of this weekend just hanging around the house, other than last night we went to Chris' Aunt Donna's house and had dinner. It was nice to spend time with family. I feel like we've been spending a lot of time with family in the last few weeks which is great for us to get that time in while things are still calm. Its like the calm before the storm, the baby will be here in a little more than 5 weeks! Yikes!

Theres some stuff going on right now that is leading me to believe this baby won't wait till June 3rd to come. I'm ok with that, I think Chris and I are physically prepared, whereas emotionally well that never really happens right?

Work is hectic but winding down. I finish in about 8 days, which is about 6 more shifts. One of those shifts is with someone else with me which is unfortunate but I think its my last one so I might just sleep through it.

Chris just got finished building a neat looking recessed spice rack. He is so handy, and the spice rack looks like it will work out really well. I'll post pics when it gets stained to show what it looks like.

Baby is doing well, she is not moving around doing rolls or whatever, but she is still moving around. I see my belly bump out from time to time when she stretches. Its not comfortable but its not for much longer so I am dealing as best as I can.

This past weekend was spent with family and friends, celebrating the baby. Saturday my dad hosted a party at my Memere King's house and it was nice. Just ladies, other than my dad being there of course. Then Sunday my best friend hosted a baby shower for us at Montana's and again was nice. We received some really great baby stuff from everyone who came and then spent the rest of the day washing it and putting it away. We're all set! There is a family baby shower coming up in May which will be nice, once thats all said and done there is nothing left to do but wait for the baby. Tick tock, tick tock. Creepy...

Hey everyone! Long time since our last update. Not too much going on, feels like the same things in a loop.

Chris is busy with work. Seems to be going well, and he's getting lots of calls for estimates so thats good. I feel very assured :)

Work is super busy for me as well. I'm trying to cram as many hours as possible into this month so as to boost my total earnings and get more for maternity pay. Its making me crazy though because we have all these reviews coming up and I'm the one who has to set up for them, but I can't keep up and I feel its going to get me in trouble. My mantra? "____ more weeks", changing it as the weeks go by.

This weekend is going to be super busy. I'm working and then headed to Montreal to spend Saturday with my dad's family (King side) and then driving home Sunday for my friend's baby shower. Should be good times :) I bought a nice summer dress this afternoon and got my hair cut and dyed it. I will be so pretty! And will hopefully get lots of pics for the baby book.

The dogs are driving us CRAZY!! I can't tell you how many times we are cleaning up either pee or puke from these little buggers. There are a lot of reasons why this could be happening (switched foods, sensing my hormones, UTI, etc) we are hoping to turn things around and soon. We're hopefully getting the carpet cleaned soon, at least before little baby comes so she won't be in a house with more bacteria than necessary.
