Ah! So many great things going on in the last few weeks its hard to gather everything together to share with you all!
To get things out of the way, we'll start with some less than positive items. I tried to get the dogs groomed recently, more specifically getting their nails cut. But of course that was asking too much, two of the babies (Oscar and Emma) flat out refused to be touched and kept trying to bite my friend who was doing the trimming (who happens to be a professional travelling pet groomer). We plan to have her back, if she agrees, to shave the dogs before the wee one appears.
I have been having some trouble and pain with my teeth, two abscesses with one being an impacted wisdom teeth. Eating has become a nightmare but its necessary cause (duh) baby needs to eat. Takes me forever to eat food! But we persevere.
On to more positive news! We had our birth classes this past weekend and it went really well. There were 9 couples there not including us. One couple in particular were being totally inappropriate, asking way too many questions that in my opinion should have been asked of their OB or someone else.It made the day drag on and on. Oh well, its all done and done and now we have the baby to look forward to!
In more positive news, we found a family doctor! I made a TON of calls today just to get a feel of how hard it would be to find a pediatrician, and ended up finding a family doctor which I think is better in the long run but we will see.
We've been purchasing and receiving lots and lots of baby stuff as gifts recently. Diapers, blankets, outfits, clothing in general, a ton of stuff from our registry and then some smaller but necessary things (think medical supplies). It makes me feel prepared and secure, which means less stress which equals health baby!
There are some other things going on right now but I am very distracted and will have to take a break and get back to it later! Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more fun stuff coming up!
